Naser Rezaei was a resident of Fardis, Karaj, who lost his life during the nationwide protests of November 2019 (Aban 1398). He was killed after being shot by security forces in his hometown during the height of the unrest. Naser was a devoted admirer of the renowned Iranian poet Ahmad Shamlou. According to his brother, Naser was shot in the same area where Shamlou had spent the final days of his life, creating a poignant connection between the young man and the literary figure he deeply respected. He is buried at the Emamzadeh Taher Cemetery in Karaj. In tribute to his passion for literature, lines of Ahmad Shamlou’s poetry are inscribed upon his tombstone, serving as a lasting memorial to his life and the values he held.
